In the economy of the 21st century increasing importance is given to social criteria in evaluation the overall business activities of enterprises. The modern concept of corporate social responsibility is based on a holistic approach. It starts from wholes emphasizing the role of all activities related to corporate social responsibility that are important for business success and improve competitive advantage of enterprise. This paper proves the necessity of abandonment the conventional classical approach to social responsibility as well as accepting the holistic systematic approach in this domain.
